"Grüezi" and a warm welcome to the Society for Ambulatory Assessment Conference 2021. The theme of the conference is: Capturing human development accross daily life contexts.
This conference series aims to stimulate research in multiple disciplines that focus on contextualized everyday life behavior, experiences, and functioning. Specifically, ambulatory assessment comprises the use of a wide range of methods (i.e., self-reports, sensors) to assess the ongoing behavior, physiology, experience, and environmental aspects of individuals across the lifespan in naturalistic settings. It covers a multitude of real-time data capture methodologies from different scientific disciplines, such as psychology, medicine, or computer science. The result of ambulatory assessment is a rich intraindividual data stream to address basic and applied questions about interindividual differences in intraindividual processes.
